3d-maps

QGIS 3D Models

This repository holds exported 3D Models from QGIS. Each exported folder will be automatically linked to geoserver.dainst.org in case the folder name has the base64 encoded name of the map url.

Example:

Your map is published under following url: https://geoserver.dainst.org/maps/555

Your folder name should be set as:

printf 'https://geoserver.dainst.org/maps/555' | base64
aHR0cHM6Ly9nZW9zZXJ2ZXIuZGFpbnN0Lm9yZy9tYXBzLzU1NQ== # thats the map name

To simplify this step you can use the bash script to create the folder.

Clone the directory

git clone git@github.com:dainst/3d-maps.git; cd 3d-maps

Run the script

./create_folder.sh --map_url='https://geoserver.dainst.org/maps/555' --folder=/path/to/source_folder

• This should create the folder as expected
• move Start.html to index.html
• create a file called online with the map_url

Push your changes

git add .
git commit -m "added map xy"
git push
